Sightline Landscape is a small bespoke landscape consultancy
which aims to assist clients in gaining planning consents as
quickly as possible to their best advantage, following best practice.

The consultancy is managed by Chris McDermott who has over 25 years experience in all aspects of landscape architecture, working for both small and multinational companies on projects ranging from garden design to nuclear power stations. Chris has worked out in the Middle East, Canada and the Caribbean for a wide range of clients including large energy companies, Government Ministries, the World Bank and UNESCO and has made presentations at cabinet level.

The company has extensive experience in landscape and townscape visual assessments from tall buildings in London to wind farms in rural areas and has provided expert witness at public inquiries. Our main area of expertise is the promotion of a wide range of renewable energy projects through the planning system, together with residential, commercial and industrial developments. Sightline Landscape also specialises in the design and creation of sustainable landscapes which mirror natural ecosystems.
